This Privacy Policy describes how NOUR.AI Inc. (“we”, “our”), publisher of the Examengo platform, collects, uses, retains, and protects the personal information of users of its website (examengo.com) and platform (app.examengo.com).

It complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Who This Applies To

This policy applies to:

  • Instructors: anyone who creates an account on the platform to design and administer exams.
  • Candidates: anyone invited to take an exam via the platform, without necessarily creating an account.
  • Visitors of the examengo.com website.

2. Data We Collect

3. Purposes of Processing

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide the service: account management, exam administration, automatic grading, sending candidate invitations
  • Process payments: handling credit purchases via Stripe
  • Ensure security: fraud detection, monitoring for unauthorised access attempts
  • Improve the platform: aggregated and anonymised usage analysis
  • Communicate: sending transactional emails (confirmations, invitations, results)
  • Meet legal obligations: retention of accounting records, responses to legal requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.


4. Data Retention

Any transfer outside Canada is governed by appropriate contractual safeguards in accordance with Law 25.

6. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and Law 25, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data we hold
  • Right of rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your data (Instructors can also delete their account directly from their dashboard)
  • Right to portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format
  • Right to object: object to certain processing activities

7. Cookies

We use two types of cookies:

Essential cookies (always active) Required for the platform to function: authentication, session management, security.

Analytics cookies (subject to consent) Used to measure site traffic on an aggregated basis. They are only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.

You can update your preferences at any time using the cookie management button at the bottom of the page.


8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:

  • Password encryption (hashing)
  • Secure connections (HTTPS / TLS)
  • Data access restricted to authorised personnel
  • Error and incident monitoring via Sentry

In the event of a data breach likely to affect your rights, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI) of Quebec and the affected individuals as soon as possible.


9. Minors

Account creation is reserved for individuals aged 18 and over. Candidate minors may take exams without creating an account. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor and wish to exercise their rights, contact us at info@examengo.com.


10. Amendments

We may update this policy at any time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you by email or via the platform at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
